We wrapped up our final home match on Friday versus Florida International University. It was probably the best we've played all season. We played consistently and aggressively all three games. FIU took the match but our team obviously grew since the last time we played them. (Coach) Jody (Brown) has said throughout the season that we play to get better, every game, every match- win or lose- we play to get better. Friday night was an exhibit of what we've been working toward the whole season. It was a nice way to wrap up at home.

Yesterday we had a team day at Spanish River Beach. We all took out the surfboard. Mallory Deneen took it out so far the lifeguards went on high alert. She almost made it to another coast. Then Kaila Abdal and Deneen wrapped up the day with a beached-whale contest. It definitely ended in a tie. Overall, it was a great weekend though. It's awesome to see the strides we've made as a team both on and off the court as the season wraps up. We head off to our final two matches this weekend versus South Alabama and Troy, both up in Alabama. I'll update after the weekend!
