October 28, 2007 2:00 p.m.

We arrived back yesterday from playing at Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky. We flew into Nashville on Thursday morning and first went to the Opry Mills Mall to walk around for a little while until we could get into the hotel. Once we had checked in we went out for a pre-practice meal and then headed to Middle Tennessee for our evening practice. The next day we prepared for Middle Tennessee by watching video and having a serve-pass session before game time. The evening went well. We lost in three but we did a lot of good things. We stayed competitive with them; however their quick offense was rough on our defense. We spent the night in Murfreesboro and made the drive to Bowling Green, Kentucky the next morning.

After a little detour we made it to Western Kentucky and prepared for the match. The first game we played alright. We went point-for-point with them and ended up losing 27-30. The second and third games were unsuccessful for us. We did not fill our responsibilities. A lot of balls dropped on second contacts and we did not play competitively. It was a very frustrating loss. We definitely left disappointed in ourselves. We have a lot to do before we take on FIU on Friday at home. We start with weights again in the morning at 6:30am. I'll update after our match this Friday!
