We wrapped up the weekend with the top two teams in the Sun Belt Conference. We started the weekend with Middle Tennessee State University on Thursday night at Grandview Prep. We came out really strong in games one and two. Our passing and defense was really aggressive but our attacking was not as effective as it should have been. The games though, remained close but we did not push enough to take the win. We had a couple of sore sports that hurt us in game three and Middle Tennessee took advantage of that to win the match.

This afternoon we took on Western Kentucky at Lynn University. All three games were very close. We came out focusing on our defense- blocking and being one move away from the floor. Western Kentucky has talented middle hitters and that hurt us. Our blocking was not as strong and that allowed them to gain vital points. We lost the match in three, however, this weekend our game picked up a lot. Playing so closely with MTSU helped us move into the Western Kentucky match with more confidence than we have played with all season. Our team is beginning to fight finally and realize our potential.

We are hopefully home in our own arena this next weekend versus both Arkansas teams. See you there!
