Volleyball Adds Two

May 8, 2002

Florida Atlantic University's volleyball coach Jody Brown has announced two signings this spring. Iana Andonova and Krista Klawitter have both signed an NLI to play volleyball at FAU.

Andonova is a 6'1" senior at Coral Springs HS where she has played volleyball for two seasons. She was an accomplished tennis player before playing volleyball the last two seasons and has been active with the Boomers volleyball club. "Iana is a very athletic player who is a strong blocker. She plays high above the net and is very disciplined," said Brown. She is expected to make an immediate impact on the team.

Klawitter is a setter from Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada and has played in Belgium, Chicago, and all over Canada. Her game experience in running a sophisticated offense will allow her to challenge for a starting position as a freshman. The 5'10" setter played for the Ganaraska Wolves Volleyball Club.
