This weekend five Florida Atlantic University volleyball players will travel to the U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team open tryouts. The event will run February 22-24 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO.

Kala Abdell, Katie Arvidson, Morgan Johns, Casey LaRocca and Kendall Utz will be part of 114 athletes that will participate in drills to identify possible candidates for the U.S. National and Olympic Teams, as well as the A2 program. The A2 program will compete at the U.S. Open Championships in Atlanta, GA May 24-27.

The roster at the tryouts will be comprised of 34 liberos, 28 outside hitters, 25 middle blockers, 15 setters and 12 opposites.
