Final Stats

Morgan Johns had eight kills, but the Florida Atlantic University volleyball lost to Western Kentucky in three sets (21-25, 19-25, 19-25) on Friday.

The Owls (11-15, 4-10 Sun Belt) started strong and trailed 18-17 in the first set when the Hilltoppers (20-9, 9-5 Sun Belt) used a 7-4 run to take the set 25-21. In the second set, WKU got out to an 11-5 lead and FAU was unable to pull even and fell 25-19.

The score was tied at 19 in set three when WKU took six straight points to clinch the match.

The Owls will wrap up their home schedule on Saturday night when they face Middle Tennessee State at 7 p.m. The match starts at 7 p.m. and live stats will be available at fausports.com.
