Final Stats

Florida Atlantic University (3-8, 1-0A-Sun) opened Atlantic Sun play with 3-1 win over Jacksonville University (0-9,0-1 A-Sun).

In the four game match, FAU easily dominated the Dolphins asthey jumped out to a 2-0 led before the Dolphins won the third game. Finalscores were 30-23, 30-27, 28-30, 31-29.

Offensively, the Lady Owls used veterans Gracie Heim (IndianHarbour Beach, FL) and Ashley Bodily (Freemont, CA) to take advantage of thesmaller size of the JU team. Ashley Bodily also led the team defensively.

FAU travels to Bethune-Cookman today for a 1 pm match.
