Florida Atlantic University (2-6) finished play at the North Carolina state Invitational Saturday, losing to radford University in four games and host NC State in five games.

In the morning match, Radford downed the Lady Owls 15-11, 15-4, 11-15, 15-9. Ashley Bodily led FAU with 15 kills while Gracie Heim added 10. Danyielle Smith had 45 assists.

In the afternoon, NC State defeated FAU 15-11, 8-15, 8-15, 16-14, 15-8. Lori Lombard led the FAU effort with a match-high 18 kills along with 15 digs. Bodily added 17 kills while Heim had 15. Kari Dailey and Smith each had 10 digs. Smith also added 53 assists.

Florida Atalntic nexts host Bethune-Cookman Monday at 1 pm, at FAU gymnasium.
