Final Stats

The University of Maryland took a three-game match from Florida Atlantic University Saturday night at FAU Gymnasium 30-10, 30-16, 30-14. Iana Andonova (Margate, FL) was named to the All-Tournament team after leading FAU with 32 kills, a .257 hitting percentage and eight blocks.

Maryland (4-2) held a .437 hitting percentage in the final match of the DoubleTree Boca Bash. The Terrapins only committed seven errors in 87 attempts. Maria DiLivio led the team with 11 kills, while Lynnsy Jones picked up 14 digs.

Krista Klawitter (Bowmanville, Ontario) picked up a career-high 16 assists for FAU (1-5). She managed to deliver eight balls to Andonova for kills, while Cayse Kaveny (Cupertino, CA) followed with seven. Makra Condill led the Owls defensively with 11 digs.

FAU will return to action on Tuesday night when Florida International University travels to Boca Raton for a 7 pm match.

In other tournament play, USF defeated The Citadel 3-0.
