Florida Atlantic University's volleyball team (0-4) was unable to capitalize on 18 service aces during a three-game match with the University of South Florida and fell 26-30, 9-30, 28-30. Gracie Heim (Indian Harbour Beach, FL) found holes in the Lady Bull's defense and recorded 11 kills on the night.

Lindsay Overton, a freshman from Montrose, AL recorded five of the teams services aces and now has a total of six on the season. Senior,Ashley Bodily, provided some of the defense for FAU as she had four of the team's 13 digs. Jeana Boyle continues to set for the Lady Owls and now has 129 assists in four matches.

Florida Atlantic will play the University of California on September 7, at the Golden Bear Classic in Berkeley, CA.
