Final Stats

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University (1-0) defeated Youngstown State (0-1) in four games Friday afternoon in its season opener at the FAU Radisson Classic in Boca Raton, FL. The Lady Owls won 26-30, 30-17, 31-29, and 30-26.

Abby Miner led FAU with 23 kills, including nine in the decisive fourth game. Miner also tallied 10 digs in the win. Jessica Kahn had 11 kills while Jeana Boyle posted 10. Defensively, Makra Condill led the Lady Owls with 15 digs. As a team, FAU finished with 12 blocks.

Florida Atlantic next takes on North Carolina State Friday evening.
