Cayse Kaveny begins her second season as an assistant coach at Florida Atlantic, her alma mater.

Kaveny will concentrate her efforts with the day-to-day operations, travel, recruiting and working with the middle hitters.

The 2005 FAU graduate played two seasons for the Owls and helped to guide the squad to an Atlantic Sun Title in 2004 and earned Second-Team All-Conference honors. She is listed in the FAU record book in both season kills and blocks after outstanding play in both 2003 and 2004.

Kaveny came to FAU from the California Bay area where she played for Archbishop Mitty High School and for Vision Volleyball Club.
