Jacksonville, FL - Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis team had the final day of the Hasting's Memorial/JU Invitational rained out Sunday afternoon. However, the Lady Owls were able to get some matches in before the rain hit. Junior Veronika Koksova defeated Stetson's Milica Milovanovic 6-2, 7-5 to advance to what would have been the "Flight A" finals.

Meanwhile, junior Alena Dvorakova saw her FAU record of unbeaten singles matches snapped at 22 matches. Dvorakova, who hadn't dropped a singles match since January 17, fell to Jacksonville's Emese Sulyos 6-4, 6-2.

The Lady Owls open spring play January 24, against The University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.
