BOCA RATON, FL - (October 9, 2007) - Six Florida Atlantic University women's tennis players recently competed at the USTA Florida State Championships.

Danielle Simone defeated Justine Humair 6-2, 6-1, and Elodie Wendling defeated teammate Pia Terol 6-0, 6-2. Virginia Augustin was defeated by Sabrina Kierberg 6-0, 6-1. Claudia Kecht lost to Monica Chow 6-3, 6-2.

Natalia Totevska was overcome by Jessica Lawrence 7-6, 6-1. In the quarterfinals, Simone fell to Janine Kremling 6-1, 6-3 and Wendling lost to Justina Lawrence 6-4, 7-6.
