Deland, FL - Owls fall in Season Finale

Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis team went on the road Sunday to play its final regular-season match of the 2006 season at conference opponent Stetson University only to fall 4-3.

The Hatters swept the double play to earn the first and crucial point of the match.

The Owls proved victorious in singles at no. 2, 3 and 5 but, saw the match decided at no. 6 in a three set match.

FAU will next travel to Macon, GA where the team will defend its 2005 crown.
