Women's Tennis Falls to Temple

In a battle of the Owls, Temple University defeated Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis team 5-2 on Wednesday afternoon in Boca Raton, FL. Natalia Totevska and Elodie Wendling both won their singles matches to pick up FAU's two points. Playing in the no. 1 spot, Totevska defeated Dina Senkina in two sets, while Wendling needed three sets to dispose of Christine Clermont in the no. 3 spot. Florida Atlantic narrowly missed its third point of the match as Virginia Augustin fell in the third-set tiebreaker 10-8 at no. 6. Florida Atlantic will play two matches this weekend. The team will face Boston University on Friday and Illinois-Chicago on Saturday, both in Boca Raton. Temple 5, Florida Atlantic University 2
