The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team captured its first victory of the season with a 4-3 victory over visiting Boston College. The Lady Owls (1-4) dropped the doubles point before winning four singles matches to take the one-point victory.

FAU's Kristen Jordan, ranked no.-64 in the nation, improved to 16-2 on the year with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over BC's Cynthia Tow. Other singles winners for the Lady Owls included Gabriela Spear, Tania Rivera, and Michelle Tulman.

FAU's lone doubles victory went to the team of Maria Aguirre-Gomez and Tania Rivera.
