BOCA RATON, FL - Kristen Jordan was the lone winner as the Lady Owls fell to Florida International Thursday afternoon, 6-1. In FAU's home opener, Jordan, ranked 62nd in the nation by the ITA, defeated FIU's Mariana Faustinelli 6-0, 6-1 to improve to 13-2 overall. Jordan also figured in FAU's only doubles victory as she and Jessica Burrow teamed up to defeat FIU's Mari Toro and Mei Ly 8-2.
