FAU's 2009 Senior Award Winners Announced
Florida Atlantic University recently announced its student-athlete awards for the 2008-09 academic year. Student-athletes were recognized today at the Senior Recognition Banquet. Female diver Lauren Harvath and men's soccer player Shire Standnes earned the award. Harvath's career as an FAU diver is marked by strong Sun Belt Conference (SBC) performances. Harvath scored points every year at conference, including contributing to two SBC team titles.

Florida Atlantic University recently named Sun Belt Conference (SBC) champion diver Lauren Harvath as the female "Student-Athlete of the Year "and soccer standout Shire Standnes as the male "Student-Athlete of the Year."
