BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic (22-18) softball team lost to Central Florida 3-0 on Tuesday night.

The game was scoreless through five innings when Hillary Barrow doubled home Tiffany Lane to give the Knights a 1-0 lead.

UCF added two runs in the top of the seventh on base hits by Lane and Marquita Council. Knight pitcher Allison Kime threw a complete game one-hitter in the UCF win.

FAU will return to Sun Belt action on Saturday when they face South Alabama in a doubleheader. Action starts at 6 p.m. and live stats and live play-by-play will be available via fausports.com
