Kristie Picon allowed one run on four hits while Nicole Myers went 2-for-3 with a pair of run-scoring singles to lead FAU past Maryland 4-1, this morning at the FAU "Worth" Invitational in Boca Raton. The victory improves FAU to 9-4 on the year and advances the Lady Owls to the championship game this afternoon at 2:00pm. FAU will face the winner of the Florida State-Illinois game.

Myers drove in FAU's first run in the top of the 4th with the Lady Owls trailing 1-0. She added her second RBI in a three-run 5th that gave FAU a 4-1 lead. The victory was FAU's fifth in as many games in the tournament.

Picon, who struck out four and walked one, improved to 2-0 on the year.
