BOCA RATON, FL - Susanna Lehtinen, a junior forward on the Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team, was named Third-Team All-Southeast Region by Soccer Buzz magazine on Tuesday.

"Susanna consistently competes at an extremely high level. Our team is happy for her, and I'm sure she will continue to represent FAU in the highest regard," Head Coach Brian Dooley said.

The honor comes on the heels of being named Second-Team All-Sun Belt in FAU's first season in the conference. She was also named to the All-Tournament team for her effort during the conference's postseason tournament. The Espoo, Finland native was named a Second-Team member by Soccer Buzz magazine last season.

Lehtinen finished 2006 with five goals and eight assists for 18 points. She led the team in shot attempts (46) and shots on goal (23) and scored a pair of game-winning goals.

The Owls finished at 11-8-2 in 2006, a campaign that featured the 150th win for Dooley and his 100th win as an Owl in the regular-season finale versus Florida International.
