BOCA RATON, FL. - Fans cheered, music played and the smell of food cooking was in the air as soccer was being played all weekend at the 2nd Annual Florida Atlantic University 5-A-Side Soccer Tournament sponsored by the Autohaus. Over 170 men and women's teams of all ages from as far north as the Treasure Coast to as far West as Naples descended upon FAU for the tournament. 22 teams from 17 different club teams won in their respective divisions.

Tournament play began Saturday morning with the Plantation Eagles first and second teams winning the division I and II U-8 team championships and ended when Futbol United won the Open Age Women's Division later that evening. Competition heated up with fun and competitive soccer in age groups ranging from the young at heart to the seasoned veterans. Team Boca, Delray Beach Rage, Boca United and Weston Fury were some of the local club teams that won their respective age division championships.

The second day of the tournament provided even more action as 90 boys/men's teams displayed the good skills and quick thinking that makes soccer enjoyable. Two Team Boca club teams won their age division with the Team Boca Watches repeating as champions of the Open Men's Division and Wonderers repeating as champions but in a different age group.

Jamba Juice and the men and women's soccer teams came out to support the efforts of all of the teams and to interact with the soccer fans.
