Women's Soccer Concludes Spring Training

April 9, 2002

After defeating Miami and UCF, the women's soccer team will conclude spring training on April 11, with a scrimmage against St. Thomas. The scrimmage will take place on the FAU field at 7 pm. Admission is free.

In 2001, the team enjoyed its best season ever as head coach Brian Dooley led the team to a 14-5-1 record. The Lady Owls advanced to the finals of the conference tournament for the second consecutive year.

The squad will have experience under their belt as they vie for their first conference title in 2002. Last years team was laden with underclassmen as transfers Lisanne Peart and Tamea Wimmer, both juniors, were the only upperclassmen in the group.
