Terrill Joins FAU's Women's Soccer Staff

March 6, 2007

BOCA RATON, FL -- Florida Atlantic University hired Carrie Terrill as the assistant women's soccer coach. Terrill will work under Head Coach Brian Dooley as the Owls prepare for their second season in the Sun Belt Conference.

"Carrie brings strong coaching and recruiting abilities that will help us continue our transition in the Sun Belt Conference," Dooley said.

Terrill comes to FAU from the Charleston United club team, where she was the director of coaching for the girl's program. Prior to Charleston United, she worked for the University of Toledo as an assistant coach and Charleston Southern in a similar role. Terrill also worked with the U.S. Olympic Development Program in 2005 and with various soccer camps throughout her career.

The Owls finished 11-8-2 in 2006, their first season as a member of the Sun Belt Conference, advancing to the semifinals of the conference tournament.
