Florida Atlantic University womens soccer signs five players for 2008

Florida Atlantic Women's Soccer Lands Five Top Prospects
BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University women's soccer program has announced that five of Florida's top prep players have signed national letters of intent to attend FAU and play for the Owls in the fall of 2008. The recruiting class includes two players from the reigning Florida State Champion Real Salt Lake Florida U-18 club team. The young players complement an FAU program that has averaged 11 wins per season over the past three years, including qualifying for the NCAA College Cup Tournament in 2005.

Women's Soccer Falls on Penalty Kicks
After a 1-0 FAU victory earlier this season over Denver, their rematch was even closer as the Pioneers won the penalty kick tiebreaker 4-1 after the two teams held each other scoreless through 110 minutes in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt soccer tournament
