DeLand, FL -- Florida Atlantic University freshman Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn posted rounds of 74, 73, and 78 to finish tied for second at the Stetson Invitational. Her three-round mark of 225 tied teammate June Bolme for the lowest score of the season.

Bolme posted a final round 77, finishing with 239 strokes to earn a 17th place finish. Junior Sandi MacDougall carded an 81 in the final round to bring her total to 256 over the three rounds. She ended in 36th place.

Freshman Kimberly D' Andrea recorded a 264 (84-88-92) for the event to finish in a tie for 43rd place.

As a team Florida Atlantic University finished in seventh-place tallying 984 (324-332-328) strokes. Campbell University earned first place honors shooting 907 as a team.

Matie OrtizdePinedo of Campbell was the medalist carding in a score of 221 (74-73-74) on the par-72, 6,022 yard Victoria Hills course.

The tournament marked an end to the 2005 fall season for the Owls. FAU will return to the links on Feb. 13, 2006 at the UCF Invitational.
