FAU Places Fifth at Pat Bradley Invitational

Oct. 30, 2007

NAPLES, FL - The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team secured a fifth-place finish on Tuesday at the 30th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational, hosted by Florida International University at Pelican Preserve Golf Club.

June Bolme posted her fourth straight top-five finish to start the fall campaign. The senior ended the two-day event in third place (72-76-70 - 218, +2), four strokes behind tournament champion Taryn Durham of Middle Tennessee State (66-76-72 - 214, -2) and runner-up Kyle Pulley of South Florida (67-74-73 - 214, -2). Durham defeated Pulley in a playoff for individual honors.

Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn continued her strong play with a fifth-consecutive top-ten performance, dating back to last spring's Sun Belt Championship. The Bangkok, Thailand native ended her final round in sixth place (69-74-78 - 221, +5).

Kimberly D'Andrea followed in a tie for 36th place with a 236 (+20). Gina Larsen (240, +24) and Elisabetta Bertini (243, +27) rounded out the scoring for FAU.

Florida Atlantic will look for its second tournament victory of the year in the final event of the fall schedule, the Stetson Invitational at Victoria Hills in Deland, FL. The FAU men's golfers will also participate in the two-day event, which starts on Monday.
