Bolme In First Place After One Round

Fort Myers, FL -- After one round of the GSU Pelican Reserve Invite, June Bolme of Florida Atlantic University is tied at the top of the leader board. Bolme shot a 38 on the front-nine of the par 72, 6,104 yard course and posted a 35 on the back half to total a first round mark of 73.

Freshman Praewnapa Phol-uayporn (41-38) is currently tied with teammate Sandi MacDougall (41-38) in 25th place as they each shot an opening round score of 79.

As a team the Owls totaled 316 strokes and currently sit in eighth-place.

Host school Georgia State is currently in first place with a mark of 304.

The Owls will wrap up round-two later this evening and concluded the three-round event tomorrow afternoon.
