WILLIAMSBURG, VA - The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team placed two players in the top four overall on its way to a second-place finish at the 2007 Colonial Women's Intercollegiate Tournament, with play concluding Tuesday afternoon at Williamsburg Colonial Golf Club.

Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn followed up a tournament-best opening round 69 (-3) with a 77 (+5) to finish at 146 (+2) for the event. The Bangkok, Thailand native placed second, just one stroke behind tournament-winner Mary Carmody of Longwood University (+1, 145). Carmody also helped lead her Lancers' squad to the team title.

June Bolme finished in a four-way tie for fourth place, submitting cards of 70 (-2) and 80 (+8) for the two days of action. The senior concluded play with a 150 (+6).

Jennifer Norton (+14, 158) led all golfers in Par 3 scoring at 2.75, while Karine Bolme and Kimberly D'Andrea each earned a share of 31st place (+15, 159) in a field of 63.

FAU next travels to Miramar Lakes Golf Club in Estero, FL for the Florida Gulf Coast University Fall Invitational, taking place September 29-30.
