Crystal River, FL - The Florida Atlantic University Women's Golf team came away victorious at the Cincinnati Spring Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn won her third individual medalist honors of the year.

"The team really came out and played consistently today," said Head Coach Joan Joyce. "We've been trying to improve the scores closer to the 70s and with hard work we got it done."

Phol-Uayporn (75, 71 -146) shot 1-under par in the second round to capture first place for her second straight tournament. June Bolme (78, 74 -146) shot 2-over par in the second round of the par 72, 6,074 yard Plantation Inn Golf Course. She finished the event in third place.

Karine Bolme (79, 83 -162) finished the two-day tournament in a tie for 22nd. Kimberly D'Andrea (79, 85 -164) and Jennifer Norton (83, 81 -164) both finished tied for 28th.

The Owls are back in action on Friday March 30, in the Ryder Florida State Championship.
