DAYTONA BEACH, FL - Florida Atlantic University shot a 320 in the first round of play at the Hatter Spring Fling in Daytona Beach, FL. FAU is tied with host Stetson University for 9th place at the 16-team tournament being held at the 6,075 yard, par-72 Indigo Lakes Country Club.

Jessica Polus leads FAU heading into Sunday's final round with a two-over par 74. She is tied for third overall and is six shots back of the leader.

Michigan and Florida Southern lead the field with first round team totals of 298. Charleston Southern is in third place with 306.
