Women's Golf Breaks School Record

Results

By posting a team score of 289 on the first day of the Treasure Coast Women's Classic, the Florida Atlantic University women's golf team set a new school record for the lowest round. The new record shattered the previous record of 295. Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn guided the Owls with a 66 on the par-71, 5,780 yard Indian Hills Golf Course.

Phol-Uayporn was the only player to shoot under par and leads the field, but fellow teammate Gina Larsen follows in second place with a 73. Karine

Bolme shot a 74 on the day to record a three-way tie for third place. FAU is in first place after the first day of the three-day tournament. The University of Evansville ranks second with a team score of 307.
