Florida Atlantic University's women's basketball team made a run at capturing the program's first Atlantic Sun Conference Title in 2002. Fans watched the live broadcast from their televisions, wishing they could be in Troy, AL. Owl fans watched the first-half lead dwindle and the possibility of a NCAA Tournament berth slip through the Lady Owls fingers.

That is the case no more. FAU sits atop the Atlantic Sun standings. This year's tournament is at nearby University of Central Florida and with your support, the Lady Owls are sure to bring home not only the trophy but an invitation to the "Big Dance".

The Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, March 13th through Saturday, March 15th. The tournament ticket price is just $25 and can be purchased by calling (407) 823-GOLD or by writing the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at P.O. Box 163555, Orlando, FL 32816-3555.

The team will be staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott. The room rate, if you identify yourself as a member of FAU's party, is $79. That rate includes: the room, buffet breakfast and a full kitchen. Reservations must be made by March 6th. The contact person is Jason at (407) 513-9000.
