TROY, AL - After seven days between games, Florida Atlantic University returns to action Monday night when it faces Troy State University in Troy, AL. The game is scheduled to tip at 8:05pm EST at Trojan Arena. The game can be heard on WLVJ 1040-AM and www.fausports.com. FAU enters the game 6-14 overall and 5-8 in the Atlantic sun Conference. TSU is 8-12 and 7-6, respectfully. FAU has not played since a 69-52 loss at Lipscomb on February 9. The game against TSU will be its third straight on the road. FAU is in ninth place in the A-Sun, one game behind Campbell and two games behind seventh-place Troy State. The Lady Owls continue to battle for seeding in next month's A-Sun Tournament as the top eight teams qualify. Trineca McCleod leads FAU with 15.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Shontavia Williams is averaging 11.3ppg. TSU has lost three of its past five games after winning five straight in January. Most recently, TSU was defeated by UCF, 70-66, Saturday at home. Laura Lee Holman leads the team with 10.8 points per game. Alecia Jones is adding 9.7 with Kim McGriff averaging 9.2 This is the 13th meeting between the two teams. FAU has dominated the all-time series with a 9-3 advantage. The Lady Owls have won the past five meetings and are 8-1 in the Chancellor Dugan era. FAU is 3-3 at Trojan Arena. FAU defeated TSU, 69-63, on January 24 in Boca Raton.
