Lady Owls Return Home

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University will be back in action at FAU Gymnasium Thursday night when it hosts Troy University. The Atlantic Sun Conference match-up tips at 7:00pm. Tickets are available at the door. Prices are $6 for adults and $4 for children/seniors. FAU enters the game 2-8 overall and 0-3 in the A-Sun. Troy is 2-7 and 1-1, respectively.

FAU is coming off a loss to UCF on Monday despite allowing a season-low 49 points. The Lady Owls forced UCF into 31 turnovers but shot just 24 percent from the field in the 49-41 loss. Missy Glaser led FAU with 11 points. Jackie Brown added 10. FAU was outrebounded 56-32.

Troy enters the game 2-7 overall and 1-1 in the A-Sun. The Trojans bring in a five-game losing streak with their last win coming on December 2 against Mercer. Amy Lewis leads the team with 13.6ppg. Troy is 1-6 on the road.

FAU leads the all-time series 10-3 and has won six straight. The Lady Owls are 9-1 in the Chancellor Dugan era. FAU has swept the season series three straight years and is 6-0 at home.

Florida Atlantic will have seven days before its next game following the Troy game. Its next game will be at Gardner-Webb January 13.
