BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University will resume Atlantic Sun Conference play Saturday afternoon when it faces Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL. Tipoff is set for 2:00pm at Swisher Gym with all of the action being carried live on WLVJ 1040-AM and www.fausports.com.

FAU (1-7, 0-1 A-Sun) will look to snap a six-game losing streak. Most recently, the Lady Owls are coming off an 82-56 loss at South Florida on Tuesday. In that game, Trineca McCleod scored a career-high 23 points while DeKesh Frazier grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds. McCleod continues to lead the team with 14.7ppg and 7.0rpg.

JU (2-6), 0-1 A-Sun) will be trying to snap a four-game losing streak. Its last outing was a 64-41 loss to UNC-Asheville on December 29. Its wins have come against Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and Eastern Illinois. Yolisha Jackson leads the team with 11.3 points per game while Rebecca Montz is averaging 11.0.

This is the ninth meeting between the Lady Owls and Dolphins. FAU leads the all-time series 6-2 and has won three of the past four games. Last year, FAU won both games in a 58-55 win at JU and a 78-54 at FAU. The Lady Owls are 3-1 at Swisher Gym.

FAU concludes the two-game road trip with a game at Stetson on Monday night.
