FAU led by as many as 17 points in the second half. After a three-pointer by Callie Piper made it 83-69 with 2:20 left in the game, JU rallied for seven straight points to make it 83-76 with 1:12 to go. Two free throws each by Amanda Bulin and Missy Glaser sandwiched around a lay-up by Cristal Randolph closed the door as FAU went on to the 12-point victory.

The 89 points were a season-high for the Lady Owls, who also made a season-high 27 free throws in 35 attempts. Williams made her first nine free throws before finishing 10-for-12. FAU outshot JU 42 percent to 41 percent and was outrebounded 43-38.

FAU forced JU into 27 turnovers and committed 17. The Lady Owls had 19 assists and 14 steals with Glaser grabbing six.

"I thought we moved the ball well and made good passes," said FAU head coach Chancellor Dugan. "We also kept our turnovers down. All in all, it was a good way to get Wednesday's loss off our backs."

Rebecca Montz led JU with 19 points and went 6-for-6 from beyond the arc. Sheena Carpenter added 16 as the Dolphins fell to 4-14 overall and 1-10 in the A-Sun.
