Shontavia Williams led all scorers with 17 points while Sally N'Diaye came off the bench to score a career-high 12. The win was FAU's third straight and sixth in its last eight games as it improved to 7-9 overall and 5-4 in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

That's when FAU took control of the game with a 20-0 run over the next seven minutes. Williams and N'Diaye combined for 13 points during the stretch. Williams scored 15 in the first half as FAU led 39-23 at the break.

FAU opened up as much as a 52-32 lead with 12:58 to play and never trailed by less than 12 points the rest of the way. The game was plagued by a total of 63 turnovers as JU committed 24.

FAU's stifling defense also contributed nine blocks, with N'Diaye swatting a career-high three shots. The Lady Owls controlled the boards with a 56-40 rebounding edge. DeKesh Frazier had nine boards, Williams eight, and Callie Piper seven.
