Jarrod Gravatt became FAU's director of women's basketball operations in August of 2007. His responsibilities include coordinating team travel, managing the team's day-to-day operations, film exchange and scouting.
Prior to working with the women's basketball team, Gravatt worked for the FAU men's team in 2006-07 as a student assistant and video coordinator. He handled a variety of tasks last season for the Owls, such as organizing practice drills and film exchange.
Before Gravatt arrived at FAU, he worked for the University of Kansas as a student web assistant from 2003-04. He assisted in the web development for all 18 sports in the Kansas program, as well as creating and maintaining a player database for the UK student-athletes.
Also while in Kansas, he gained basketball experience while working as a counselor and coach at summer camp for such coaches as Roy Williams, Bill Self, Dana Altman, and Quin Snyder. Gravatt also worked as a high school referee from 1998-06 in both Kansas and Missouri.
A native of Lee's Summit, MO, Gravatt is currently working toward his undergraduate degree at FAU with a major in sociology and a minor in business. He transferred from the University of Kansas where he studied sports management and fitness.
