Yolanda Cole begins her third season on staff at Florida Atlantic. She is responsible for game planning, film exchange and working with the Owl guards. She also assists in recruiting efforts and has been an integral part of FAU's climb up the Sun Belt Conference ladder.
Cole comes to FAU by way of Central Connecticut State University, where she spent three seasons as an assistant coach. Her primary duties at CCSU included film exchange, recruiting, scouting reports and academic monitoring. While she was with the Blue Devils, they won the 2005-06 Great Alaska Shootout and helped develop two First-Team All-Northeast Conference student-athletes, as well as two members of the Northeast Conference's All-Rookie team.
Before her time at CCSU, Cole spent a season with Kellogg Community College as an assistant coach after spending five seasons as the head manager for the women's basketball team at the University of Michigan. Cole also worked as a camp instructor while working with the Wolverines.
The Battle Creek, MI native earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Michigan in 2003.
