Basketball Season Tickets Now On Sale
Florida Atlantic University Athletics has announced that season tickets are on sale for the men's and women's basketball 2009-10 season. The men's basketball team will feature 14 home games this season, including one exhibition, while the women's basketball team will feature 16 home contests. The men's ticket package costs $120 with the location of the seats determined by a donation to the Owl Club.

Owls Picked 4th By Coaches in Sun Belt Preseason Poll
BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic women's basketball team was picked to finish 4th in the Eastern Division by the Sun Belt Conference coaches in the preseason poll released today. The Owls finished 5th in the Eastern Division last season with a 9-9 conference record. Middle Tennessee, last year's regular season and conference tournament champion, was picked first in the East garnering 11.5 out of 13 first place votes. The Owls will face the Blue Raiders twice this season, once in Murfreesboro, TN on January 16 and then once at home on February 27 in FAU's regular season finale. That final game against Middle Tennessee will be televised on the Sun Belt Network and will be the Owls only televised regular season game this season.
