BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University had a storng showing at the University of Central Florida Invite by capturing seven of nine matches played in day one.

Daniel Vardag captured his Flight A singles match with a three set victory over Georgia State's Martin Shiskhov 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.

Both Joe Cadogan and Lawrence Harradine captured their matches in Flight B against GSU. Cadogan defeated Henri Mangin 7-6 (4), 6-0 and Harradine defeated Jackson Moore 6-3, 6-2.

Two matches were also captured in Flight C with Eddie Majcher defeating GSU's Trenton Spinks in straight sets (6-0, 6-3 and Joshua Scholl defeated William Adeimy 6-3, 6-3.

The Owls took two of the three doubles matches played with Joe Cadogan and Lawrence Harradine taking their opening match versus William Adeeimy and Henri Mangin from Georgia State 8-5 in Flight B. Eddie Majcher and Joshua Scholl captured their Flight C doubles match against GSU's Jackson Moore and Trenton Spinks 8-5.

FAU will return to the court playing both UCF and LSU this weekend.
