BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University opened the 2007-08 tennis season with impressive play at the Southern Intercollegiates hosted by the University of Georgia.

Olivier Sajous began the year ranked no. 73 nationally and was seeded no. 14 in the Intercollegiates.

Sajous continued his impressive young collegiate career with a 6-0, 2-6, 6-4 victory over Wofford's Andrew Stubbs.

FAU newcomer Marc Abdelnour was defeated in his FAU debut 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 by the nation's 70th ranked player and tournament's no. 13 seed Jean Yves Aubone, from Florida State.

The tournament will continue play on both Saturday and Sunday.
