The 60th-ranked Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team extended its winning streak to five matches with a 6-1 victory over Old Dominion University Monday in Tampa.

The Owls (6-2) took the doubles point by sweeping all three matches before winning five of the six singles matches. Doug Devriendt improved to 8-0 at the no. 1 position by defeating ODU's Zoltan Csanadi 6-2, 7-5. The Owls' Martin Jirak defeated Nichlas Hallberg 6-1, 6-1 to improve to 6-1 at no. 3.

The Owls next host #55 Georgia Tech Thursday at 3:00pm.
