Boca Raton, FL- - Florida Atlantic University's men's tennis team began its regular season Tuesday morning against William & Mary. Cristian Paiz and F.J. Schofield recorded singles victories for FAU in a 5-2 loss.

Paiz was the first Owl to record a victory when he beat Jeffrey Kader 6-4, 7-5 at the number one position. In the last match F.J. Schofield defeated WM's Alexander Fish 7-6, 7-6. Both players start the season off with a 1-0 record.

Head coach Alex Alcantara was not surprised by the players who won. "The guys who won all have college experience here," said Alcantara.

The Owls will face Northwood January 25th at 11:00 am at the FAU courts.
