FORT PIERCE, FL - In a dual meet between Florida Atlantic University and Indian River State College's men's teams, the Pioneers edged the Owls 124-113.

Freshman Csaba Pek led the Owls in scoring with 18 points with wins in the 200 yard IM (1:53.66) and the 200 yard backstroke (1:48.33). Mikolaj Czarnecki tallied 13 points with an event win in the 200 yard butterfly (1:49.57) and runner-up in the 200 yard freestyle (1:44.99). Jonathan Van Zee won his first race of the young season, stopping the clock at 48.71 in the 100 yard freestyle event.

The Owls will be back in action on Saturday, November 22 in Fort Myers, FL against Florida Gulf Coast University and the University of Tampa.
