Four FAU Swimmers Compete at the FGC Open
Four Florida Atlantic University freshmen swimmers that did not participate in last weekend's Sun Belt Conference Championship Meet competed at the Florida Gulf Coast Open in Coral Spring, FL. Michael Czupryna, Jennifer Garland, Andres Romero and Cody Wagner all produced their top times in every event they swam. FAU's regular season schedule is complete, but several Owls will continue to train.

Michael Shimanskys 15:30 in the 1,650 yard freestyle race is a school record.

FAU Men Fifth at SBC Championships
The Florida Atlantic University swim and dive team has completed competition at the 2009 Sun Belt Conference Championships held in Nashville, Tennessee. The women finished fourth and the men fifth. Senior Lauren Harvath was named the Women's Most Outstanding Diver of the meet.
