BOCA RATON, FL - Freshman forward Gianni Piccoletti earned another weekly individual award for the Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team on Monday, as he was named the Atlantic Soccer Conference Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.

The Boca Raton native son has gradually become an integral part of the FAU offensive attack at the forward position, along with veteran teammates Liam Ogle and Shire Standnes. Piccoletti is tied for third on team in goals with four on the year.

With two goals scored - and two crossbars hit - in a 4-1 win over Florida International on Sunday, Piccoletti registered the second game-winning goal of his career and established himself as a force to be reckoned with heading into the ASC tournament.

Piccoletti previously claimed ASC Rookie of the Week Honors after notching his first goal of the season, a dramatic strike in FAU's 1-0 September triumph over Iona. His timely header, off a corner kick by senior captain Diego Monsalve, supplied the golden goal for Florida Atlantic and propelled them to consecutive wins at the FAU Classic.
