The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team recently announced its 2009 schedule. This year, the Owls will host ten regular season home contests at the FAU Soccer Complex, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus.

The team will begin the season with three exhibition matches, including two at home. The Owls will play host to Barry University on August 19 before traveling to Nova Southeastern University on August 22 and returning home to host Lynn University on August 25.

The regular season kicks off with four home matches in a row beginning on September 1 against Jacksonville University.

The 17 match schedule is highlighted by home contests against the top three finishers in the final Mid-America Conference (MAC) standings. The matches include an October 3 match-up with reigning MAC regular season champion Akron, an October 25 match against Northern Illinois and an October 30 match against Buffalo.

The Owls will also play rival Florida International on October 19 in Miami and will close out the season with an away match against Bowling Green on November 7. For tickets or more information, call 1-866-FAU-OWLS.
